Former Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, seeking a re-election in the Delhi polls, has demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to approve a 50% concession for students in the city’s Metro.
In a letter to PM Modi on Friday, Kejriwal said that both the Centre and the Delhi governments should manage the losses incurred in rolling out the proposal.
Notably, Delhi Metro is operated in collaboration between the Delhi government and the Centre.
The Delhi government is also planning to give free bus travel to students.
